Harvest Embroidery

Fall is coming! Kinda. It's been 80some degrees for the past week and a half. The leaves are starting to change! Sorta. I keep forgetting it's October and that the time will change soon and things will start getting cozier. After I cleaned up from Elliot's birthday party I broke out the falling leaves garland I made last year and the leaf embroidery I made the year before that. My contribution this year: a tea towel!

This cute little pumpkin is from Doodle Stitching: The Motif Collection. Because I have about one cumulative hour free to myself each week, it took a ridiculous length of time to make. But it still feels damn awesome to have made something and I'm thankful for every minute that I get to sit quietly and create.

My next project is a Halloween costume for Elliot. Anyone have a patten for an axe? A cute axe, of course. :)
